Position Summary: Researches and provides financial and business related analyses to assess the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.
Essential Functions:
Conducts analyses and research in such areas as sales programs and financial and expense performance.
For assigned projects; prepares detail of work plan and schedule, completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management, and recommends action or change.
Provides assistance to departments in the formulation of their budgets. Reviews departmental actual expenses versus budget. Issues monthly variance statements.
Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested.
Under general supervision, carries out broad and complex assignments requiring comprehensive knowledge in the field of specialization and of the organization in order to interpret and apply policies, as well as develop recommendations for change.
Supervises the completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.
Requirements: • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting Field with five (5) years prior related professional experience. • Title dependent on years and type of experience as well as demonstrated successes with progressional duties. • CMA or CPA desired. • 5 years' experience.
