Job Opening — DIRECTOR FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for working with senior leadership to develop the long-term strategic financial plan, annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the strategic planning, annual planning, and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Deliver analysis and insight on key assumptions, opportunities and risks on all financial plans.
• Lead processes to provide economic, market trend and competitive analysis to senior leadership.
• Provide financial analysis support for all M&A/divestiture activity.
• Provide financial leadership and support for key Corporate initiatives.
• Work closely with the operating units providing counsel and advice as a business partner on financial operating matters.
• Continually refine and improve the financial forecast processes and systems to maximize effectiveness and efficiency across the Corporation.
• Provide leadership and support for key Finance initiatives.
• Provide financial support for quarterly close process and earnings call.
• Assess all major investment initiatives – create and present recommendations based on business strategy, payback, IRR, and Economic Profit. Implement process to track and analyze results and work with operating company leadership on corrective actions.
• Build a highly capable team of analysts to provide direct finance support. Partner with Operating Companies to drive best practices on financial analysis and create standard of work on critical processes across the Corporation.


PROFILE

? The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial executive with 10+ years of proven experience, in a manufacturing company with a strong reputation for financial excellence.

? The individual must have a strong technical competence in the areas of financial analysis and modeling, forecasting and business planning/performance management tools. Familiarity with US GAAP, Tax and Treasury is preferred.

? This candidate must have exceptional leadership and management skills and a proven track record of working with senior leadership as a business partner contributing to the success and growth of the business. The successful candidate must be capable of taking on larger roles within the organization.

? This person will understand related accounting application systems and have knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.

? An MBA with CMA or CPA is preferred Experience in a global company is preferred, but not required.

$120K-$140K with bonus of 10% - 15%
