Job Opening — REGIONAL CONTROLLERPOSITION OBJECTIVE: To support all aspects of the region with regards to Finance and Controllership for a key Region within the USA for the Service Business and to be the Business Partner for the Regional Director.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Full P&L, Balance Sheet, and Working Capital responsibility for three repair centers and field service operations. Responsible for the financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and management of risks and opportunities in the Region. Provide guidance and training to the site controllers, empowering them locally to address and resolve issues, yet when needed able to dive into the details. Be the Business Partner for the Regional Director. Key and active participant in Management Business reviews and stand in for Regional Director as needed. Assure that proper Controllership and Compliance processes are in place. Lead Financial Business Processes to assure the business is operating effectively, reporting accurately and timely, and providing the necessary information and analysis to make sound business decisions, including but not limited to the yearly budget process, long-term plan, quarterly business reviews, and balance sheet reviews. Be the key contact for the region for corporate reporting and ad-hoc requirements. Provide developmental opportunities for the team. Travel within the Region on occasion to visit sites is required.
PROBLEM SOLVING: Job requires significant problem-solving skills and dealing with complex business issues that arise frequently. A sense of urgency and the ability to solve problems in a high-paced environment is critical.
SCOPE & DIMENSIONS: Annual Sales Volume ($US): ~$70M Number of people directly supervised: 5 Directs Positions reporting to that function: Site Controllers, Financial Analysts
TYPE OF BUSINESS CONTACTS (Internal/External): Position will interact with a wide range of levels within the organization, within the Services Business and with Corporate, and needs to feel comfortable interacting at the VP level and presenting to Directors and VPs frequently. The position will also have some interaction with external clients.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Minimum 10 years overall business experience required. BS Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent required. MBA in Finance or other similar advanced degree preferred.
