Job Opening — SHARED SERVICES MANAGER - JAPAN BILINGUALThe Finance Operations department seeks a Shared Services Manager to support the Japan Shared Services Accounts Payable team. This position will team with Shared Services, Retail Finance, Retail Buying, Vendor Management and Operations to support vendor payables. This person will report into the Asia Shared Services Manager and lead a team of accounts payable analysts. This position will direct the day-to-day performance of the team and is accountable for the coaching and development in order to achieve optimal team performance.
The AP Shared Services Manager must be familiar with all the AP processes and the
software supporting them. The responsibilities are as follow:
Optimizing operational workflow including payments process efficiency, productivity metrics, special projects, and both internal and external escalations.
Work cross functionally between Inventory and Non-inventory teams.
Partnering with Retail Buying to scope and implement accounts payable solutions for emerging business areas.
Collaborate closely with the Japan Office Shared Services team on local issues and requests.
Identifying process inefficiencies and working with Global Financial Systems and Operations teams to implement effective systematic solutions.
Maintaining monthly and quarterly communication on accounts payable status with key business partners with specific focus on risk areas and road blocks impacting the performance of the Shared Services Team.
Requirements:
B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
3+ years of financial and/or operational experience, and direct supervisory experience
A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations

Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
Experience with Oracle Financials is desired
Extensive fluency in Japanese is required
Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred | Location
