Job Opening — senior finance manager - business services

We have been engaged by one of our Fortune 50 client firms to identify a Senior Finance Manager for their newly launched business services group located in Panama. This company is a high profile, global industry leader that offers outstanding career progression for top performing leaders. The role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact and leverage both top technical and leadership skills, while developing relationships with senior leaders at both this site and at corporate headquarters in the U.S.

Job Responsibilities

Role requires someone with exceptional leadership skills as he/she will act as business partner supporting Finance Directors and Operational VP’s and have responsibility for an organization of 25+ including 3 director supervisor reports. This role is responsible for budgeting, controlling and analyzing over $2B in spending as well as providing strategic financial management and leadership to the assigned department. They will recommend both short and long-term plans and strategies within the assigned client group and also determine the appropriate financial structure to support this rapidly expanding site. Future roles can include progression in Panama, assignments in the US or across other Latin American facilities or other regions.

Profile Requirements

• At least 10 years of corporate finance experience, ideally, with significant experience within a global company. (Experience in Panama or another Latin American culture is a plus).
• At least 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Outstanding finance and accounting skills.
• Exceptional leadership skills – i.e. ability to influence and motivate as well as take the lead in identifying and seeking solutions to problems as they occur.
• Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Potential to broaden and progress to higher levels of responsibility.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English
• CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
