Job Opening — SENIOR STAFFING DIRECTOR (OR VP)High profile, global industry leader in diversified manufacturing business is seeking a senior level staffing professional to play an integral role in this exciting, high growth business. Ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership, communication skills and the ability to work at the most senior level of management on a very strategic level, as well as the willingness to work at the very basic levels on a day to day basis to develop and drive a world class recruiting effort. Location is one hour from Philadelphia and an hour and a half from NYC.
Responsibilities: Position is responsible for the successful identification, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding new senior level leaders. Successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to identify all areas requiring senior talent and broadly and specifically define the needs, gain consensus from all stakeholders then undertake the successful talent search. This global position requires an extremely hands-on individual who understands the art of attracting and closing outstanding senior candidates. The desire to seek critical input from colleagues, in-house customers and company executives is critical.
Profile Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 20-plus years of business experience, including senior level recruiting. Business experience should include having worked in many different and varying capacities, ideally working in an operational capacity across several functions. Candidate should be prepared to supply specific examples of how he/she worked with senior management to determine scope of responsibilities, skill requirements and company culture fit. Senior Staffing experiences must also include working knowledge and practical understanding of developing and assessing recruitment and staffing requirements, managing staff and setting goals, dealing with complex issues and compensation and benefits. Specific emphasis should be given to demonstrating capabilities in senior level recruiting and how he/she undertook searches for, and identification of exceptional talent and how on-boarding success was achieved. Candidate should also show he he/she defines then exposes and confirms excellence, and methods used to close the order with the senior level candidates.
