Job Opening — Senior Financial Analyst

This position provides strategic and analytical financial support to a specific business unit.

Primary Accountabilities:
1. Provide financial support to business unit Controller and Executive Committee, including various change initiatives. Assist Controller in managing funding and resource allocation process.

2. Manage the business unit Investment Portfolio and oversee the Global Project List. Provide analyses to support funding and prioritization decisions. Utilize Project Prioritization Model to help identify strategically important projects and enhance decision-making on investments.

3. Provide strategic insights and financial support to the implementation of various Finance key initiatives around Top-Down Portfolio Management, Spend Effectiveness and Implementation of metrics.

4. Lead Budgeting cycle. Implement plans to streamline and optimize Budgeting cycle and eliminate low value work. Coordinate with Finance team on the budgeting process and provide insightful analyses.

5. Provide financial leadership to various Business Divisions and Shared Services. These tasks include various Cost-Benefits and Make vs. Buy analyses, managing spending by division and projects, ownership of the divisions' budget, Capital support and financial training.

6. Assist in preparation of presentations for various Finance updates to Senior Management.

7. Special projects as defined by current business needs.

Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred.

2. Excellent analytical skills a must.

3. Need to be creative, self-motivated and have demonstrated strong leadership, adaptability and interpersonal skills.

4. Need to demonstrate ability to work both individually and under a team environment.

5. Strong proficiency in Excel and Power-point. Experience with SAP, BW, SEM and Hyperion preferred.
