Job Opening — SENIOR FINANCE MANAGERDescription: " Participates actively on the global Category Leadership Team. Assists in the development of financial strategies, strategic objectives, operating policies and procedures to ensure attainment of objectives. " Attracts and develops future finance leaders for the organization. " Provides senior category leadership with decision-support related to resource allocation and other key strategic decisions. Puts in place tools and processes to ensure that global decisions are supported by sound business cases. " Oversees the acquisition and analysis of data and information that allows the continuous monitoring of global performance, as well as progress made towards achieving strategic goals. Leads the creation and ongoing development of the performance measurement system for key performance indicators (KPI's), including consistent definitions, measurement tools and regular management reporting. " Establishes/supports development of a robust planning and forecasting process that yields a "no surprises" environment. " Creates and maintains a project management capability to assure issues are identified and actions taken. " Leads both internal and external benchmarking efforts to help identify and leverage best practices across geographic regions. " Supports long-term financial forecasting efforts to facilitate informed decision-making. " Leads operational analysis of the key business processes in order to assist business leaders in identifying processes targeted for improvement/redesign. Facilitates business process redesign initiatives. " Ensures that the organization maintains an outcome-driven, metric oriented culture. Provides leadership to a team of analysts that provide essential financial and analytical support that enhances the organization's ability to make appropriate business decisions. " Analyze financials that help drive key management decisions as a part of the Finance Business Analysis Team.
Qualifications: " Requires a Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline plus MBA from top-tier institution " At least 10 years experience working in a large, global environment " Strong influencing skills, including the ability to persuade others point-of-view by making logical arguments and aligning to business requirements " Track-record of turn-around experience and/or leadership of large-scale business transformations " Written and oral communications skills that allow communication with various levels of management required. " Strong analytical skills, including ability to think about complex issues using scientific/critical thinking approach to solving problems and make sound judgments. " Knows what questions to ask to clarify issues. " Strong financial planning, analysis, metrics and benchmarking experience required. " Analyzes business unit drivers and available data in terms of how it impacts company's core business. " Strong communication skills, including the ability to discern from available data what should be pertinent to upper levels of management. " Track-record of demonstrating poise in high-pressure situations. " Presents ideas clearly to inform or persuade, in group settings, using effective documents, visual aids and technological aids, and effective oral and non-verbal skills; targets the message and deliver to the specific audience
