Job Opening — Internal Audit
We have on-going requests from our client firms for Internal Auditors. Individuals with this background continue to be in high demand. Locations vary across the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Providing high quality professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and special projects including: Financial, Operational Process (including SOX controls), Technology, and more.
2. Involved in various aspects of auditing including planning, development, execution, and quality control.
3. Assisting management in preparing risk assessments and internal audit plan programs
4. Developing, organizing and maintaining adequate work papers
5. Effectively communicating with management
6. Demonstrating the ability to research issues, trends, etc. via external sources
7. Performing other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. One to three years of experience in internal audit, preferably in a large public firm or corporate environment with proven ability to take on increased responsibilities
2. BS degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent) is required
3. CPA, CIA, CISA (or equivalent) preferred
4. Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
5. Strong verbal, analytical and writing skills
6. A good general understanding of business dynamics and operations
7. Ability to think independently and be a thought leader.
8. Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team
9. Willingness and ability to travel
10. Willing to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines
11. Being a strong team player
